ABOUT ME

I currently head up Communications and Brand Marketing at Donald Pliner, designer footwear brand for men and women. I'm responsible for media outreach, events, sponsorships and retail and wholesale marketing. This encompasses everything from in-store events and signage, social media, direct mail, email, influencer strategy and co-branded sponsorships/campaigns with our retail partners.

Prior to joining the team at Pliner, I was the Director of Marketing and Communications at Charitybuzz.com - an online auction platform that raises money for nonprofits through celebrity auctions. At Charitybuzz I built their social media and email strategy, alongside significant day-to-day media outreach to ensure coverage and referral traffic to our auctions.

I started my career at Toys"R"Us in the Consumer PR department where I media trained store managers and executives, wrote press materials for our CSR initiatives and first-to-market launches, planned and executed events at the flagship Toys"R"Us and FAO Stores.

I graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Communications from Boston University and currently reside in NYC. I was the chairwoman of the Young Professionals Committee for the NYC chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the past four years and currently fundraise for DKMS Delete Blood Cancer with their annual Blood Ball.
